CBMI Construction Co., Ltd. has signed a USD 240 million cooperation agreement with Nigeria’s BUA Cement Plc to build a new cement production line with an annual capacity of 3 million metric tons in Sokoto State. The two parties have maintained a stable 15-year cooperative partnership. Previously, CBMI has built production lines delivering a total capacity of 14 million tons for BUA Cement. Upon completion of the new project, BUA’s total annual cement capacity will reach 20 million tons. This new production line will fully satisfy the surging cement demand driven by Nigeria’s rapid infrastructure construction. The project stands as a benchmark case for sustained profitable overseas expansion of Chinese cement technology and engineering services in Africa.

CNGR Advanced Material Co., Ltd., a leading new energy enterprise based in Hunan Province, has partnered with Moroccan investment fund AL MADA to build Africa’s first large-scale production base for lithium battery cathode materials. The first phase with an annual capacity of 40,000 tons of nickel-based cathode materials has officially gone into operation. The long-term planned total capacity will reach 70GWh. Ningbo C.S.I. Power & Machinery Group Co., Ltd. has cultivated the African market for 27 years. Jiangsu Jiangzhou Agriculture launched the Huambo Farm project in Huambo Province, Angola in 2016. China Gas Holdings Limited has signed a tripartite strategic cooperation agreement with NNPC Limited and local engineering enterprisesNNPC Limited.
