On June 10 local time, the 2026 China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo "Into Africa" special session for Morocco kicked off in Casablanca, Morocco. The exhibition zone gathered leading Hunan-based equipment manufacturers including Zoomlion and SANY Group, alongside top local Moroccan enterprises. As a benchmark enterprise for Hunan’s machinery exports, Zoomlion has made extensive inroads into the North African market. In April this year, Zoomlion’s Moroccan subsidiary opened in Casablanca, serving as its core hub covering the whole of North Africa. On July 2, 2025, the ZCC9800W crawler crane manufactured by Zoomlion took part in the construction of Rabat Stadium, a venue for the 2030 FIFA World Cup in Morocco. Zoomlion’s construction machinery has been widely used in key Moroccan projects such as the 2030 World Cup stadiums, while its agricultural machinery has also gained access to the local market. Leveraging its strengths in smart manufacturing, Zoomlion keeps exporting high-efficiency, low-energy, eco-friendly intelligent equipment to Africa. With a localized service network, it strongly supports local infrastructure construction and industrial upgrading. In 2025, Zoomlion’s revenue from the African region surged by more than 157% year on year. At present, SANY runs 24 subsidiaries across Africa with a local staff ratio exceeding 60%, and its machinery is sold in more than 50 African countries and regions. Taking this event as an opportunity, SANY will further expand its business footprint in North Africa. In response to the infrastructure and energy development needs of Morocco and North Africa, SANY commits to long-term mutually beneficial cooperation. Abdel Rahim Lahou, an importer of agricultural machinery from Morocco, commented on site that Chinese farm machinery features reliable quality and advanced technology, which can fully meet local demand and boast huge market potential. He looks forward to deeper cooperation with Chinese enterprises in the future. Co-hosted by the Secretariat of the China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo Organizing Committee and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Morocco, the three-day event included more than ten special forums, business matchmaking sessions and supporting exhibitions to deepen practical industrial chain cooperation between China and Africa.
