As a representative enterprise of Jiangsu's agricultural sector going global, the company invested in the construction of Huambo Farm in Huambo Province, Angola in 2016, which is the largest privately-owned Chinese farm in the region. It has introduced Chinese agricultural planting technologies and agricultural machinery to carry out large-scale cultivation of grain crops such as corn and soybeans, producing nearly 20,000 tons of grain and agricultural by-products annually. The supplies are sold to local residents at a price 20 percent lower than the local market rate, increasing the income of over a thousand local people. This project was selected as one of the Best Cases for Global Poverty Reduction at the 6th session, and it was the only winning case independently submitted by an enterprise from Jiangsu Province.
